We are very big into getting out and about on Sundays. There is so much to see and do in our beautiful city that it would be a shame to stay indoors and deal with “adult” things like washing and cleaning. We love celebrating Sunday-Funday and 100% live by the “don’t let Monday ruin your Sunday” vibe! On one of our most recent Sunday adventures, we headed out to the V & A Waterfront to try out the new Waterfront Charters Cruise and Dine Experience. It was amazing.

The Waterfront Charters Cruise and Dine Experience is a fun, new outing for friends and families to enjoy at one of the most popular destinations in the World. Whether you’re looking for a romantic sunset cruise followed by a candle lit dinner, or an exciting sunshine sail followed by pizzas and beers, Waterfront Charters leaves the options up to you.

Three of the V & A Waterfronts top restaurants (Meloncino, Greek Fisherman and City Grill) have joined forces with three of Waterfront Charters cruising vessels (Serenity One, Southern Cross and Esperance) to create a customized cruise and dining menu for visitors to choose from. The options include afternoon and evening cruise and dining combos which not only lets you pick your perfect experience, but also gives you an excuse to come back and try a different vessel and/or restaurant.

We opted for an afternoon cruise aboard the Serenity One luxury catamaran, followed by a spectacular mountain view lunch at Meloncino. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better day. We grabbed a seat up front, ordered a couple of beers and let the wind take control of our journey. It was the most peaceful hour we’ve had in a long time.

This was followed by a 2 course lunch at Meloncino which was delicious. Nothing works up an appetite quite like a good ol’ dose of sunshine, fresh air and ocean views.
