We are 67 days away from our Australia holiday! I can’t believe I just said that. We were chatting about all the things we wanted to do while we were there and I laughed at our different His and Hers TO DO LIST for Australia. There I was rambling on and on about all the places we were going to see, all the food we were going to eat, all the experiences we were going to experience, and then when it was lops turn to list his to-dos, he shot off 4 very precise, very boyish plans.

It’s going to be a crazy busy 2 weeks in Australia. We start in Melbourne, then head to Adelaide, on to Sydney and back to Melbourne. It’s a once in a lifetime trip so we want to jam as much as we can in the short time we have. We’re not going to waste a single moment. We can sleep when we get back to Cape Town.

Here’s our His and Hers TO DO LIST for Australia

I’m sure a whole lot won’t go according to plan but that’s ok. It will be another story for the books.
Like that time we arrived in Barrydale and our hotel was no longer there.
Seriously, that actually happened.

1. Go to Welcome to Thornbury Market

A permanent bar and food truck with the 2nd biggest beer garden in Melbourne. Yes please!

2. Do a Yarra Valley Wine Tour

We all know how much I love my wine so it comes as no surprise that this was the first thing added to my list.
Can you think of anything more exciting than exploring a new wine region with your person? I can’t.
Yarra Wine Valley – the lops are coming for you!

3. Check out the Graffiti in Hosier Lane

I’ve heard the graffiti game is on point in Melbourne. Looking forward to spending a few hours exploring
the street art in Hosier Lane and finding a local spot to stop off at for some drinks and a bite to eat.

4. Visit the Adelaide Central Market

We have a free day in Adelaide so we’ve decided to spend it doing as little as possible.
I’m hoping to visit the Adelaide Central Market to pick up some picnic supplies
and then head off to the zoo for the afternoon.

5. Adelaide Zoo

Other than being excited to see Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombats & Tasmanian Devils,
we are also super keen to see the only pair of Giant Pandas in the Southern Hemisphere.

2. SA vs AUS 1st Day Night Game at The Adelaide Oval

It is the FIRST Day/Night SA vs AUS game at Adelaide Oval and we are going to 2 days of it.

We are sitting in the SA stand and we plan to dress up and make TV.
